Fechas importantes

Mon., Sept 29:  Last day to retake the animals vocab quiz (see me if you need to schedule a time to come in)

Thurs Sept 25:  meet in class, then go to library
Fri, Sept 26:  meet in computer lab, Rm 145

Mon, Sept 29:  grammar quiz (stem-change verbs, comparisons, verbs like gustar, questions/answers) MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE VOSOTROS FORMS OF WHAT WE STUDIED!

Tues-Wed, Sept 30 and Oct 1:  book project due at the beginning of class  (we will also do a practice writing exam in class so that you know what to expect)

Thurs-Fri, Oct 2-3:  Written exam, practice for oral exam

Mon Oct. 6:  oral exams begin

Thurs-Fri Oct. 9-10:  mini-project due

2 - Que puede hacer?

Add to your animal book!  You are now going to start writing text on the right hand side of each page about each of your 8 animals.  Don't use all the space on the page because there will be more to add!

In complete sentences, you need to describe where each animal lives and what it looks like.  You are answer the questions Donde vive? and Como es?

para el lunes, el 5 de septiembre

Make a little book with 17 pages (each page = front and back):
-blank cover page,
-number the pages, you first animal is on page 1, page 2 is blank, second animal on page 3, page 4 blank, third animal on page 5, page 6 is blank, etc. until you have 8 animals
-left side of the next pages, you need to draw an animal and label its body parts (write the name of the animal above or below the drawing, min. 3 body parts per animal)
-the right side of each page will be used later to add text
-the pages at the end will be used later as well...you do need to have this many pages!
